Does your story cover the features?

Characters

Is it character driven? Do your characters come alive with speech, description, thoughts, reaction to others, feeling?

How do you want the reader to feel about your character? Do you think you have used the right language and ideas to achieve this?

Language
Have you articulated your ideas through language that creates impact?

Have you read it outloud to yourself and listened to the story? Do it!

Have you checked the surface features of the text?
